Highett Village comes alive with a full day of food, music, entertainment and community fun! Explore the street, discover hidden gems and enjoy everything our vibrant precinct has to offer.
What to Expect
Live Music Everywhere (2 pm – 8pm): From cafés to boutiques, hear local acts performing across the precinct. Diverse genres and multicultural sounds create a soundtrack for the day. Plus, vote for your favourite music act on the day to WIN a $50 voucher to spend in Highett Village!
$5 Food Tasters: Sample multicultural flavours from local eateries. Move through the precinct and discover the culinary delights Highett has to offer
On-Street Market (2pm – 5pm): Shop, sample, and explore stalls selling products, gift vouchers, and interactive mini experiences — perfect for Christmas shopping.

Family Fun (2pm – 5pm):
- Free face painting (2 – 5pm) just up from Highett Gelato and Desserts at 10/284 Highett Rd
- Free Sanderrific station (2 – 5pm) at 491 Highett Rd (next to Third Wheel) – a fun sand activity for kids where they can make their own coloured necklace sand bottles with cork lids, with over 16 different coloured sands
- Free Highett Youth Club activity station (2 – 4.30pm) at 2 Railway Pde (outside Paradai Thai) – learn gymnastics skills and complete challenges on the balancing equip and mini tramp
- Free butterfly enclosure with caterpillars, chrysalis and spiny leaf insects (2 – 5pm) at 535 Highett Rd (The Suite)
- Free jumping castle (2 – 5pm) in the library driveway
- Visit Highett Football Netball Club & Auskick station at the side of the library for stickers, flyer for free come-and-try sessions and a go on their handball target

| 2 – 4pm | Regulator Café 4 Railway Pde | Zevon Lee and Chris Lisati are bringing their beats, fat grooves, dual vocal, layered sweet keys and soul blues guitar licks. With originals and dope cover versions of your favourite tracks |
| 2.30 – 4.30pm | Hawker Bar 290 Highett Rd | Heavy Medicine is an original blues rock trio that packs a mean punch of psychedelic voodoo blues, and rock’n’roll soul |
| 3 – 5pm | Roving Musician | Katerina Stevens plays traditional dance music from the Greek Islands and Asia Minor on violin. She plays in several ensembles around Melbourne |
| 4 – 6pm | Bayside Mediation 539 Highett Rd | Ensemble W performs arrangements of operas and suites by Beethoven and Mozart, and others. They highlight the sounds of the bassoon against the perky flute and rich clarinet tones |
| 2 – 5pm | Monkey Can Fly 519 Highett Rd | Paul Lindholm, local guitarist and vocalist, playing laid-back blues, folk and country |
| 3 – 5pm | Railway Wine & Teo’s Pizza Parklet 6-8 Railway Pde | Danni K is a singer-songwriter known for her country inspired take on crowd favourites |
| 3.30 – 5.30pm | Andiamo Panino 334A Highett Rd | Teos Papa brings infectious energy to every set, blending house and disco with funky basslines and uplifting vocals. His groove-driven sound gets the crowd moving and keeps the dance floor alive all night long |
| 4 – 6pm | Cafe Valentina 408 Highett Rd | Liam Morton is a talented guitarist playing flamenco and bossa nova music |
| 5.30 – 7.30pm | mr wine and jungle 330 Highett Rd | Catch dynamic duo, Sam Lemann, guitarist and ukulele specialist whose jazz, swing, country with an Hawaiian-influenced style and James Sherlock, one of Melbourne’s most captivating and exciting jazz guitarists |
| 6 – 8pm | Vino e Vita 270 Highett Rd | Winston Shefford is a seasoned acoustic guitarist and vocalist with a soulful baritone reminiscent of David Bowie and Leonard Cohen. His performances blend rich vocals and intricate guitar work |
