Highett Village comes alive with a full day of food, music, entertainment and community fun! Explore the street, discover hidden gems and enjoy everything our vibrant precinct has to offer.
What to Expect
Live Music Everywhere (1 pm – 7pm): From cafés to boutiques, hear local acts performing across the precinct. Diverse genres and multicultural sounds create a soundtrack for the day.
$5 Food Tasters (at times set by various eateries): Sample multicultural flavours from local eateries. Move through the precinct and discover the culinary delights Highett has to offer.
On-Street Market (1pm – 5pm): Shop, sample and explore stalls selling products, gift vouchers and services – perfect for Christmas shopping.

On the footpath, between Hunky Dory and Highett Gelato and Desserts.

1pm – 4pm · Inside Highett Shopping Centre, 284–286 Highett Rd - Messy Playdough Station (Free)
Think Yo-chi, but with playdough and toppings (if kids have playdough sensitivities, check ingredients with staff). Kids can also contribute to the “I Belong Here” community canvas. Run by Highett Neighbourhood Community House, Castlefield Community Centre and local artist Kerry Evitts.
1pm – 5pm · 491 Highett Rd (next to Third Wheel) - Gymnastics Activation (Free)
Learn gymnastics skills and complete challenges on the balancing equipment and mini tramp at the Highett Youth Club activity station. HYC is a not-for-profit community club offering cheerleading, gymnastics and calisthenics for all ages and abilities.
1pm – 4.30pm · 2 Railway Pde (outside Paradai Thai) - Football & Netball Activities (Free)
Challenges and giveaways at the Highett Football Netball Club station, with Highett Junior Football Club and Highett Auskick Centre.
1pm – 5pm · Grassed area next to Highett RSL (1 Station St)
