Highett Village comes alive with a full day of food, music, entertainment and community fun! Explore the street, discover hidden gems and enjoy everything our vibrant precinct has to offer.

What to Expect

Live Music Everywhere (2 pm – 8pm): From cafés to boutiques, hear local acts performing across the precinct. Diverse genres and multicultural sounds create a soundtrack for the day. Plus, vote for your favourite music act on the day to WIN a $50 voucher to spend in Highett Village!

$5 Food Tasters: Sample multicultural flavours from local eateries. Move through the precinct and discover the culinary delights Highett has to offer

On-Street Market (2pm – 5pm): Shop, sample, and explore stalls selling products, gift vouchers, and interactive mini experiences — perfect for Christmas shopping.

Family Fun (2pm – 5pm):

  • Free face painting (2 – 5pm) just up from Highett Gelato and Desserts at 10/284 Highett Rd
  • Free Sanderrific station (2 – 5pm) at 491 Highett Rd (next to Third Wheel) – a fun sand activity for kids where they can make their own coloured necklace sand bottles with cork lids, with over 16 different coloured sands 
  • Free Highett Youth Club activity station (2 – 4.30pm) at 2 Railway Pde (outside Paradai Thai) – learn gymnastics skills and complete challenges on the balancing equip and mini tramp
  • Free butterfly enclosure with caterpillars, chrysalis and spiny leaf insects (2 – 5pm) at 535 Highett Rd (The Suite)
  • Free jumping castle (2 – 5pm) in the library driveway
  • Visit Highett Football Netball Club & Auskick station at the side of the library for stickers, flyer for free come-and-try sessions and a go on their handball target
