Paws & Play is lighting up Highett Village with light installations & food and drink specials from local bizzes!

What to Expect

Bayside City Council is bringing Neon Nights to our precinct, and on Saturday 8 August, Highett Village will glow with a larger‑than‑life Dog Park neon installation by Volter International and visual artist Carla O’Brien.

Think neon pups fetching, running and full of personality – a vibrant, playful display designed to delight families, dog lovers and anyone chasing a puptacular Insta moment.

To make the night even better, local businesses are getting into the spirit with food and drink specials, themed winter treats and entertainment – so you can eat, drink or play before or after visiting the glowing displays (see listing below).

Plus, in the spirit of Paws & Play, we also have a dog treat trail (read on below)! So bring your pup on a leash and visit the stops for a full, furry belly!

Neon Nights will be glowing from 4.30pm, perfect for families and early diners, and running until 8pm for the night owls and anyone wanting to soak up the atmosphere.
